Privacy Policy (Demo Website)

This website is a product demonstration environment used by Acoustic to show how marketing and customer engagement features may work. It is not intended for real consumer use.
1) What this site is (Demo Environment Notice)
This site may allow you to enter information such as a name, email address, or phone number to simulate marketing workflows. We do not send real marketing emails or SMS messages from this demo site. Any messaging, automations, segments, or “message sends” shown in the demo are simulated unless we explicitly tell you otherwise in writing.
2) Information we collect
Depending on the demo flow, we may collect the following categories of information:
• Contact information: name, email address, phone number
• Demographic or profile fields (optional): location (city/state), preferences, interests
• Demo activity and device data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, timestamps, IP address, browser/device type, cookies or similar identifiers
• Any information you choose to enter into forms, including free-text fields
Please do not enter real sensitive information (e.g., Social Security numbers, government IDs, precise health data, financial account numbers) into this demo site.
3) How we use information
We use the information collected to:
• Demonstrate product capabilities (e.g., segmentation, personalization, journeys, analytics)
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the demo site
• Measure and improve demo performance (e.g., which pages are used, errors)
We do not use demo-site data to contact you for marketing purposes unless you separately request it (for example, asking for follow-up and providing your contact details for that purpose).
4) SMS-specific information (phone numbers and simulated messaging)
Depending on the current use cases, there may not be any options to provide a phone number or opt-in for SMS.
If you enter a phone number in this demo site:
• The phone number is used only to demonstrate how SMS marketing features could work (e.g., opt-in capture, audience building, message templates).
• No SMS messages are actually sent from this demo site.
• “Opt-in,” “STOP,” “HELP,” and other compliance flows shown are for demonstration and may not reflect a production implementation.
5) Legal basis / consent (demo context)
Where consent is shown (e.g., a checkbox or “opt-in” language), it is presented to illustrate how a real SMS program would capture consent. Because this is a demo environment, the consent capture is not used to send real messages, but it may be stored as part of the demo record to show how consent status would be tracked.
6) How we store and protect information
We store demo data in systems used to run and support the demonstration experience. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Even with safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We recommend using test data whenever possible.
7) Retention (how long we keep demo data)
We retain demo-site data only as long as needed for demonstration, troubleshooting, and audit/review purposes. Typically, data is retained for 30 days and then deleted or anonymized, unless we need to keep it longer for security, legal, or operational reasons.
8) Sharing and disclosures
We may share information with:
• Service providers that help us run the demo (e.g., hosting, analytics, logging/monitoring)
• Internal teams involved in delivering the demo experience
We do not sell demo-site personal information.
Because this is a demo site, we do not share phone numbers with SMS carriers or messaging providers for delivery, since no SMS is sent.
9) Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand usage, and improve the demo experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
10) Your choices and rights
